The RedShirt Network

The RedShirt Crew Network is a group of blogs dedicated to providing an assorted collection of news, reviews, and stories relating to games, books, movies, shows, and other forms entertainment. Here is a list of the members of the RedShirt Crew Network.

The RedShirt Crew

This is the blog that started it all. Created by MaristPlayBoy and JuniorVarsity with a handful of friends in the fall of 2011, the blog seeks to tackle a wide array of topics gravitating around the core of geek culture, describing itself as a blog about "everything and nothing at all." Starting from a group of amateur bloggers, the site has slowly begun to gain minor traction as other writers and columnists join the fray.

The blog has since grown and now has several posts daily as well as some weekly columns, covering a healthy variety of movies, games, books, television, and current events.

The GameRx Clinic [You are Here]

Established in March of 2012, the GameRx Clinic was started by Doc Watson as an offshoot of his RedShirt Crew column "GameRx," where he gives recommendations of games that were underappreciated, underground, cult classics, and keystones of gaming. After adding his column "Prognosis" to the blog in addition to GameRx, he realized he had more to write about than he was allowed to post on the RedShirt Crew. He resolved to establish a parallel blog to support his desire to write more on the things that interested him.

The GameRx Clinic features crossposts to and from the motherblog, The RedShirt Crew. In addition to these, Doc Watson and associates generate a collection of other articles to supplement the motherblog by discussing gaming, science fiction, literature, film, and current events as they pertain to the culture of gaming and the rising generations of gamers as a whole. The Clinic has weekly posts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and plans to expand to support more articles from more writers in the near future.

More blogs will be added to the list as the network expands. We'll be sure to keep you posted!
